History and culture of Uzbekistan in the system of world civilizations

KARSHI STATE UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC END PRACTICAL CONFERENCE ON THE TOPIC “HISTORY AND CULTURE OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE SYSTEMS OF WORLD CIVILIZATIONS”

 INFORMATION LETTER 

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 18, 2024 No. 16, an international conference was scheduled to be held at Karshi State University on May 20-21, 2024.
This international conference will be dedicated to the theme "History and culture of Uzbekistan in the system of world civilizations" and the 60th anniversary of the birth of Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Eshov Bokhodir Juraevich. The conference is organized both offline and online – on ZOOM platforms.


The aims of the conference:

1 - Stages of development and evolution of traditions of early statehood and urban planning in Uzbekistan;

2 - Topical issues of archeology, ethnology and numismatics of Uzbekistan (based on new research);

3 - Ancient and modern historical and cultural (social, economic, political, educational, migration, ethnocultural) processes that took place in Uzbekistan;

4 - History and culture of Uzbekistan in the Soviet period and the period of independence: achievements, problems, prospects;

5 - The role of history and culture of Uzbekistan in the development of tourism and museum culture.


The languages of the conference: Uzbek, Russian, and English.

Requirements for the design of articles:

  • The article is formatted in MS Word file format. DOC; Times New Roman font; font size is 14, line spacing is 1.5, bottom margins are 2 cm, left margins are 3 cm, right margins are 1.5 cm.

  • References to the sources are used after the citation in square brackets indicating the ordered number of the citation source, volume and page, for example [1:56]. The list of references is placed at the end of the text under the heading "Literature"; sources are placed in a numbered list in alphabetical order.

  • The topic of a scientific article or an abstract should be written in capital letters, with the author’s name, surname, scientific degree (if received), workplace, phone number indicated before.

  • All papers will be given in paper and RTF format.

  • The file should be saved with the author’s surname.

  • Abstracts and keywords should be written in Uzbek, Russian, English.
