 Scientific Research Areas of the Laboratory:

-        Studying the actual nutrition of various population groups in the Kashkadarya region and developing scientific and practical recommendations for its rationalization;

-        Study and analysis of the functional state of the cardio-respiratory system in individuals engaged and not engaged in sports;

-        Studying the effect of various substances on the activity of enzymes that ensure the hydrolysis of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in the small intestine.

Goal of the Laboratory:
Development of research in the fields of physiology, biochemistry, and biophysics within the conditions of the Kashkadarya region; ensuring the integration of science, education, and production in these areas; and implementing advanced physiological and biochemical research into practice.

Tasks of the Laboratory:

-        Physiological and biochemical analysis of the supply of essential and supplementary nutrients to various population groups living in rural and urban areas;

-        Development of innovative methods for fortifying the diet with necessary minerals;

-        Conducting anthropometric studies of various population groups living in rural and urban areas and developing standards for assessing their physical development;

-        Conducting research to develop innovative methods for studying the functional state of the cardio-respiratory system in representatives of various population groups;

-        Conducting research on the mechanisms of action of flavonoids and other substances on the activity of small intestine enzymes and developing recommendations for practice;

-        Preparing university students, graduate (Master's) students, and doctoral candidates for participation in interuniversity, regional, and international student and professional scientific conferences in Uzbekistan;

-        Preparing annual and current reports on the results of the laboratory's scientific research work and other relevant documents for submission in accordance with established procedures.
