Karshi State University has been cooperating with KOICA organization on “Volunteer Program” since 2010. The university has 9 specialties in Korean language and 2 specialties in computer technology, 1 specialty in medicine, 1 specialty in arts and 1 specialty in preschool education. 

The goal of the project is to help students of “Preschool Education” major to study foreign experience on the basics of preschool education according to the Korean model and to form competencies of future teachers on the use of Montessori methodology.

Main functions: Volunteering in “Preschool Education” is not new as KOICA volunteer Lee Young Il for 2019-2022. Online completed a volunteer project to teach students the Montessori method. The project set up the university office as a Montessori classroom. But the qualifications of teachers and trainers are not enough to conduct Montessori classes. Therefore, the university needs volunteers' help in training Montessori trainers.
