Tourism Initiatives Foster Development at Karshi State University

In connection with the execution of Presidential Decree No. PQ-269, issued on July 18 of this year, “On Measures to Improve the System of Training Personnel in the Tourism Sector,” and in celebration of World Tourism Day on September 27, an event was organized at the newly inaugurated Tourism Practice Center at Karshi State University.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of the Region for Tourism, Culture, Cultural Heritage, and Public Communications, A. Zakirov, the Director of the Department for Tourism Infrastructure Development and Management, M. Abdulhayirov, professors and lecturers from Tashkent State Transport University, representatives of tourism-related businesses in the region, members of the Kashkadarya Youth Tourism Ambassadors Council, as well as professors and lecturers from the Tourism and Marketing Department of the Faculty of Economics.

During the event, cooperation agreements were signed to establish “Dual Education” in the tourism sector, aiming to integrate theoretical learning with practical experience. Participants were also introduced to the activities of the Youth Tourism Ambassadors. The event concluded with an agreement to continue developing and expanding the prospects for collaboration in the future.
