World Cleanup Day: KarSU Students Take Active Part in the Nationwide Plogging Eco-Campaign
On September 20, the entire nation joined forces to celebrate World Cleanup Day with a large-scale plogging eco-campaign titled “Make Space for Life!” held across all regions of Uzbekistan.
Students from Karshi State University made a significant contribution to this event. Third-year students from the Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, together with the “Young Eco-Patrol” volunteer group and leaders of the university’s primary organization, actively participated in the cleanup efforts.
As part of the eco-campaign, held under the unifying slogan “One Nation, One Goal – For a World Without Waste!”, the volunteers worked diligently to clear the surroundings of the A-380 international highway of litter. Their participation not only demonstrated a commitment to preserving the environment but also set an example of responsible citizenship, reinforcing the importance of collective efforts in creating a cleaner, healthier planet.
Through their dedication, KarSU students and volunteers embodied the spirit of World Cleanup Day, showing that even small actions can contribute to the global goal of achieving a waste-free world.
