University Stage of the Foreign Languages Olympiad: Results and Highlights
In our country, significant efforts are being made to support talented young people, help them realize their potential, and create favorable conditions for their research and academic performance. The Olympiad is a prime example of a system designed to support gifted students and provide them with additional opportunities.
The university stage of the Foreign Languages Olympiad was conducted in a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere. Students were presented with a range of questions to choose from and given ample time to prepare. Following the preparation phase, a question-and-answer session was held in an interview format. The commission then openly announced the results, ensuring that the evaluation process was transparent and fair for all participants.
The winners of the university stage are as follows:
English Language:
- 1st place: Charos Komilova, 3rd-year student, English Philology and Teaching.
- 2nd place: Feruzabonu Yarasheva, 3rd-year student, English Philology and Teaching.
- 3rd place: Mohinur Rustamova, 3rd-year student, English Philology and Teaching.
French Language:
- 1st place: Ulugbek Rabbimov, 4th-year student, French Philology and Teaching.
- 2nd place: Aziza Hasanova, 3rd-year student, French Philology and Teaching.
- 3rd place: Ruxshona Quvatova, 3rd-year student, French Philology and Teaching.
German Language:
- 1st place: Dilinur Polvonova, 3rd-year student, German Philology and Teaching.
- 2nd place: Mohigul Shavkatova, 4th-year student, German Philology and Teaching.
- 3rd place: Munisa Abdullayeva, 4th-year student, German Philology and Teaching.
The first-place winners at the university stage have earned the opportunity to compete in the national round. Those who excel at the national level will be awarded cash prizes equivalent to 5, 4, or 3 times the base scholarship amount. Moreover, they will receive recommendations for direct admission to master’s programs at relevant universities, in accordance with the regulations.
