Cross-Cultural Academic Collaboration: Karshi State University Lecturer Embarks on Educational Endeavour at University of Žilina, Slovakia

In recent days, Nilufar Jumayeva, senior lecturer and PhD in the Department of English Language and Literature at Karshi State University, has been on an internship at the University of Žilina in Slovakia, ranked 800th in the QS World University Rankings for 2023. She is conducting lectures for university students and undergoing training.

As part of this academic internship, various events, participation in conferences, publication of articles in internationally indexed journals, and the establishment of cooperation between Karshi State University and the University of Jilina are actively being pursued.

This internship is being conducted under the National Scholarship Programme (NSP) of the Slovak Republic. Nilufar Jumayeva is actively engaged in activities under the leadership of Professor Eva Lelakova, the head of the Department of English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities at Žilina University.

For information, Žilina University has received accreditation for 172 educational programmes across seven faculties, catering to an enrollment of over 8,000 students. With over 70 years of successful operation, the university specialises in various fields such as transportation, technology, management, marketing, and the humanities. The current academic internship will continue until July 5 of the present year.
