“National Attire” Exhibition Held at the Faculty of Art Studies
An exhibition titled “National Attire” was organized by the teaching staff of the Department of Painting and Applied Arts and the Dean’s Advisor for Women’s Affairs, A. Sattarova, for female students of the Faculty of Art Studies. The event featured creative works by second-year students from the Design: Clothing and Textiles program, showcasing modern interpretations of traditional national attire. The display included garments made from fabrics like atlas, adras, and beqasam, highlighting their elegance and cultural significance. This exhibition aimed to enhance students’ understanding of clothing culture, promote the beauty and delicacy of national attire, revive unique designs that align with our heritage and values, and harmonize tradition with modernity. Students who actively participated in the exhibition were recognized and rewarded.
