Vibrant Book Presentation Event at Karshi State University

The monograph "Ali Şir Nevâyî'nin Bedii Tefekkürü" (Artistic Thought of Alisher Navai) was written by KarSU professor Nafas Shodmonov. It was published in several copies and as an electronic form by the "Neyzen Kitap" publishing house in Istanbul, Turkey. It was translated into Turkish by Saidbek Boltaboyev, associate professor of the Karabuk State University of Turkey. The monograph is 235 pages long and was based on Nafas Shodmonov's research on Alisher Navai's artistic heritage.

The writer presented his monography on November 23, 2023, at the main assembly hall of Karshi State University. At the event, members of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, KarSU faculty members and professors, researchers and scientists of Navai studies, as well as Uzbek philology students, took part. In particular, Saidbek Baltabaev, the associate professor at Karabuk State University, participated in person. In his speech, he highlighted the new perspective presented in the book on literary and scientific factors that formed and elevated Alisher Navai’s worldview, enlightenment, and aesthetics.

In their speeches, the members of the Writer’s Union of Uzbekistan, Jumakul Kurbanov, and the poet Oroz Khaydar praised the book in their remarks for its thorough and in-depth analysis of the poet’s philosophy and aesthetics.

A number of scientists of Navai studies from Turkey, such as Professor Tanju Seyhan (Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University), Professor Funda Toprak (Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University), Professor Akartürk Karahan (Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University), and doctoral researcher Meryem Cemile Aslan (Ankara University), participated in the event online with their lectures.

The presentation of the book ended with a discussion and answers to questions that had arisen.
