International Scientific Conference on Jadidism Movement and its Influence on Turkic Literature

On October 13–14, 2023, an international scientific conference was held at Karshi State University.

The conference aimed at discussing the problems of studying the Jadidism (modernist) movement and its influence on the literature of Turkic people.

Leading scientists and researchers from Turkey and Azerbaijan and local scientists and professors, as well as doctoral and master students of the university, participated in the conference. The conference was chaired by Ilkhom Bekpulatov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of the university.

Regarding the issues on the agenda, professor of TSUULL, PhD, Uzak Jorakulov, Professor of Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University of Turkey, PhD, Zainabiddin Abdirashidov, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Director of Turkish World Values Application and Research Centre, Faculty of Education, Turkish and Social Science Education, Head of Turkish Education Department, Professor Yusuf Avci, Saidbek Boltaboyev, Ph.D., associate professor of Karabuk University of Turkey, Khadjar Guseynova, professor of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, H. Eshankulov, PhD, professor of BukhSU, N. Shodmonov, PhD professor of KarSU, gave a lecture.

The work of the conference was continued at the branch meetings.
