“Lochin” Volleyball Team Triumphs in Opening Match of Uzbekistan Championship

The first round of the Uzbekistan Volleyball Championship has begun at the “Jar” Sports and Wellness Complex and the Sports Complex of Tashkent State Transport University in the capital. A total of 21 volleyball teams from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, various regions, and the city of Tashkent are participating in the championship. The national championship for adults is being closely observed by local and foreign coaches working with the Uzbekistan national team. Their main objective is to identify talented young players and recruit them into the national squad. According to the draw results, on February 21, seven pairs of teams competed against each other. Notably, the “Lochin” volleyball team of Karshi State University is also taking part in the championship. In their opening match, our team faced the TerSU (Surkhandarya) team and secured a decisive 3-0 victory. The championship will continue until February 28.
