KarSU Student Secures Victory at Asian Hand-to-Hand Combat Championship

From September 12 to 16, the Asian Championship in hand-to-hand combat took place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan.

Karshi State University are proud to announce that Ugiloy Jumanova, the first-year student of the Judo program, competed as part of the national hand-to-hand combat team and emerged victorious in every match. Defeating all her opponents, she earned the prestigious title of Asian Champion.

For context, the tournament brought together nearly 300 athletes from 12 countries, all vying for victory. The members of our national team delivered an outstanding performance, securing a total of 9 gold, 5 silver, and 3 bronze medals, earning them first place in the overall team standings.
