Elegant National Attire on Display at the Khan Atlas Festival
The “Khan Atlas” festival is currently taking place across our country, celebrating the centuries-old history, traditions, customs, and aesthetic values of our people, all beautifully reflected in our national clothing. Today, the Faculty of Philology hosted an event titled “Elegant Attire in Khan Atlas,” where female professors and students showcased their pride in wearing garments made from atlas, adras, and other traditional fabrics that highlight our national heritage.
The event featured speeches acknowledging that our vibrant, uniquely patterned fabrics like atlas and adras, known for their vivid colors and intricate designs, are admired by people worldwide for the joy and elegance they bring. The program also included a fashion show, where dresses combining traditional and modern styles were displayed, accompanied by melodious music. This harmonious blend added a special charm and depth to the event.
