"Ideaton—Uzbekistan 2030" Competition Winners Announced

The "Ideaton—Uzbekistan 2030" competition was conducted at Karshi State University on November 23, 2023. The competition seeks to find the scientific and innovative potential of young people, identify promising projects, and provide them with comprehensive support.

At the competition, young researchers presented their startup projects to a panel of experts and successful business bodies who could be potential investors and supporters of the projects.A total of 25 students attended the competition. The final results of startup projects were summed up, and the winners were awarded.

The first place was awarded to a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Chemistry, Otayeva, Sitora; the second and third places went to the students of the same faculty, Torayeva Mukhlisa and Hamidova Zarina, respectively.

The winners took cash prizes and recognition from industry experts. More importantly, they seized the opportunity to make connections that can aid their business endeavours far into the future.

The organisers of the competition for innovative projects hope that the number of startup authors will increase significantly next year.

It is worth mentioning that the most active participants in the competition were students of the faculty of chemistry. There are most of them, both among the participants and among those who won prizes.
