KarSU Professors Undertaking Short-Term Science Internship at Atatürk University of Turkey.
Karshi State University professors Gulbakhor Tajieva and Nilufar Yuldasheva are undertaking a short-term science internship at the Atatürk University of Turkey from November 13 to 29. On November 14, an international seminar was held to discuss the current alphabet problems in the Turkish world and their solutions. Along with the researchers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and local universities in Turkey, the KarSU professors represented Uzbekistan.
The KarSU representatives participated in the international seminar with their lectures. In their lecture, they introduced Karshi State University and talked about the prospects of the alphabet reform that is being carried out in the country.
At the end of the negotiations, a joint final declaration proposing solutions to the problems of the alphabet in the Turkish world was submitted to the Organisation of Turkic States.
As part of their mission, the KarSU representatives signed a memorandum of understanding between Karshi State University and Ataturk University of Turkey. The agreement is designed to foster cooperation in cultural and research activities, the development of faculty and exchange programmes, and short-term special education programmes.
