75th Anniversary Celebration of Prof. Abdurakhim Erkaev at Karshi State University

The anniversary celebration of the professor of Karshi State University, Abdurakhim Erkaev, candidate of philosophical sciences, was held on November 18, 2023. He is also a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan and the author of a number of morographic works, pamphlets, and articles.

The celebration ceremony was held at Karshi State University in the presence of the regional governor, Muradjan Azizov, the members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Talibjan Madumarov, Farkhod Bakiev, Ilkhom Kurbanov, Shermat Shamsiev, Khurshid Fazilov, the rector of Karshi Ingeneering Economics Institute, Orif Bazarov, Shakhrisabz State Pedagogical Institute, Jamshid Shonazarov, and a group of prominent figures in the field.

Karshi State University rector, welcoming the attendees, said: We are happy to congratulate our colleague, Professor Abdurakhim Erkaev, on his 75th birthday and regard this opportunity as our great honour and privilege. He is among the people who have had a great influence on the development of science and education.

As an anniversary gift, the rector presented the new book “Do’stlar qutlovi” (Greetings of Friends), published by Karshi State University Publishing House. The book represents the steps of his life and work and his scientific achievements.

In his speech, the regional governor, Muradjan Azimov, pointed out that for many years he managed the administration apparatus of the Kashkararya region, the department of organisational affairs, and the social secretariat of the regional government. Moreover, he created his school for the development and implementation of national ideology and the foundations of spirituality.

The Deputy Chairman of the Republican Board of the "Nuroniy" Foundation, Sharof Ubaidullayev, cordially wished the Professor many happy returns of the day, satisfaction from the work he has already accomplished and the work he will complete in the future, and solemnly awarded the medal “Mehnat faxriysi” (Veteran of Labour).

Abdurahim Erkaev was born in 1948. He graduated from Samarkand State University. He is the source of a great variety of valuable contributions to our knowledge of national ideology and the foundations of spirituality. He is the author of a number of monographs, such as "Ma'naviyat-millat nishoni” (Spirituality is a Symbol of Nation), “Milliy g‘oya va ma’naviyat” (National Ideology and Spirituality), “Tafakkur erkinligi” (Freedom of Thought), “Ma’naviyat va taraqqiyot” (Spirituality and Development), and “O‘zbekiston yo‘li” (The Way of Uzbekistan).
