KarSU PhD Student Secures Funding for Advanced Research in Tashkent

The Innovation Development Agency has announced the winners of the “Academic Mobility” program, held from May 7 to June 30, 2025. A total of 23 talented young researchers were selected for their outstanding scientific projects. Among the winners is Javohir Abdurakhimov, a doctoral researcher at the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Physics of Karshi State University. He has been awarded a grant of 65 million soums to continue his project at the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies of the Academy of Sciences from October to December this year. The program offers young scientists the opportunity to conduct research at leading scientific institutions across Uzbekistan, exchange expertise, and further develop their academic careers. Starting this year, the competition will be held on a year-round basis, providing greater opportunities for researchers nationwide.
