Result of Presidential Reforms: “UniKids” Preschool Education Institution Integrating Education and Practice Opened at Karshi State University

A modern preschool education institution, “UniKids,” has been inaugurated under the auspices of Karshi State University. Located in the city of Karshi, the 240-seat educational institution has been equipped with modern teaching and methodological resources as well as advanced information technologies in accordance with the “Preschool Education and Upbringing” Standard and the “Ilk Qadam” (First Step) State Curriculum. The institution provides education and upbringing in Uzbek, Russian, and English for children aged 3 to 7. “UniKids” includes a modern laboratory featuring four specialized centers designed to foster children’s knowledge and skills. In addition, the institution serves as a practical training base for students majoring in Preschool Education at the university, offering opportunities for dual education, teaching internships, and research activities. The grand opening ceremony was attended by Murotjon Azimov, Governor of Kashkadarya Region, representatives of the public, media personnel, university faculty members, and students. Speakers at the event emphasized that the new institution would contribute significantly to the comprehensive development of young children, enhance the quality of preschool education, and support the preparation of highly qualified specialists for the sector. During the event, children presented a variety of artistic performances. Following the ceremony, guests, accompanied by university rector D. Nabiyev, toured the “UniKids” preschool education institution and familiarized themselves with the modern facilities and conditions created for children and future educators.
