Karshi State University traces its origins back to September 1, 1945, when it was established as a branch of the Bukhara Pedagogical and Teachers’ Institute. On February 28, 1992, it was officially granted the status of Karshi State University by a Presidential Decree. Today, it holds a leading position in the education sector of the southern region of Uzbekistan.
