International Scientific Conference: Contemporary Problems of Theoretical and Experimental Chemistry and Chemical Technology

On October 20, 2023, an international scientific and practical conference was held at Karshi State University. The conference aimed at discussing the problems of theoretical and experimental chemistry and modern problems in chemical technology.

Representatives of the Academy of Sciences and research institutes, professors and students of higher education institutions, as well as industry experts and leading scientists from countries such as Sri Lanka, India, and Tajikistan, took part in the conference.

At the plenary session, the following lectures were delivered:

• “MILK COAGULATION TECHNIQUES TO IMPROVE CHEESE PRODUCTION” by Prof. Mohamed Rifky, Eastern University Sri Lanka, Chenkalady, Sri Lanka;
• “NANOMATERIAL AS HETEROGENEOUS CATALYST IN FENTON PROCESS FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT” (online in English) by Dr. Bhawana Jain, PhD, Post Doc., Director and Principal Scientist, Siddhachalam Laboratory, Raipur, India;
• “SYNTHESES BASED ON DIETHANOLAMINE”, by Prof. Tursunali Khalikov, associate professor, National University of Uzbekistan;
• “ХИМИЧЕСКИЕ И ФИЗИКО-ХИМИЧЕСКИЕ ОСНОВЫ ПОЛУЧЕНИЯ НРК-УДОБРЕНИЙ” by Professor of the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Yangiyer Branch;
• “ИССЛЕДОВАНИЕ ВЛИЯНИЯ КОМПОНЕНТОВ НА СВОЙСТВА КЛЕЕВИКС КОМПОЗИТ ДЛЯ ФРИРОВАННЫХ КАРТОНОВ” by Muzaffar Sharipov, PhD., associate professor, Bukhara State University;
• “CATALYTIC SYNTHESIS OF 1H-1,2,3-TRIAZOLE DERIVATIVES BASED ON THE AZIDE-ALKYNE CYCLOADDITION REACTION” by Ilkhomjon Artikov, Phd., Head of the Department “Organic Synthesis” at the Institute of Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

The work of the conference was continued at the branch meetings. At the end, conclusions were summarised and mutual experiences were shared.
