Global Experts Convene to Discuss Innovation in Tourism and Digital Marketing

On May 16–17, 2025, the Department of Tourism and Marketing at Karshi State University, in cooperation with the international scientific journal Science and Innovation, organised an international scientific-practical conference titled “Digital Technologies and Tourism Marketing: Innovative Approaches and Global Opportunities.”

The conference focused on the integration of digital technologies into the tourism sector, exploring innovative marketing strategies and the effective use of artificial intelligence, Big Data, blockchain, virtual reality, and mobile applications.

Scientific sessions were organised under the following thematic areas:

-         Digitisation of Tourism Services and Online Platforms

-         AI, Chatbots, and Personalised Advertising in Marketing

-         International Digital Cooperation and Access to New Markets

-         Sustainable Tourism and Eco-Technologies

-         Consumer Behaviour and Digital Analytics Tools

The event brought together over 30 international scholars from countries including Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Germany, India, and Poland, as well as more than 400 local professors, researchers, and students. A total of over 250 scientific papers were submitted, of which 150 were selected for presentation.

The most relevant and scientifically rigorous papers were planned to be published on platforms such as Index Copernicus, Zenodo, OpenAIRE, and ilmiyanjumanlar.uz, and indexed in Google Scholar.

This international conference serves as a platform for the exchange of scientific and practical expertise, the development of global academic cooperation, and the advancement of digital leadership in the tourism sector.
