In the lead-up to the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which is set to take place this autumn in the city of Samarkand, a delegation from Karshi State University, headed by Rector Professor Dilmurod Nabiyev, visited Brussels, Belgium. The visit aimed to widely promote Uzbekistan’s rich historical and cultural heritage on the international stage. As part of the visit, a large-scale presentation titled “Uzbekistan’s Priceless Heritage” was held in Brussels. The event featured exhibitions showcasing the nation’s traditional arts, handicrafts, and elements of Uzbek national cuisine. The cultural program attracted significant interest and was attended by nearly 200 guests, including members of the diplomatic corps, cultural figures, and representatives of international organizations. The Karshi State University delegation will continue its mission in the Netherlands, where similar presentations, exhibitions, and cultural events are planned. These initiatives are designed to raise international awareness of Uzbekistan’s historical, cultural, and spiritual legacy.
