Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport. Key Action 1: Mobility of learners and staff under Erasmus+ scheme means opportunities for students, trainees and young people as well as for professors, teachers, trainers, youth workers, the staff of education institutions and civil society organisations to undertake a learning and/or professional experience in another country.
The University of Valladolid is renowned for its multidisciplinary research spanning areas such as biomedicine, engineering, social sciences, environmental sciences, food science, language and linguistics, and business and economics. Its research excellence, collaborations with industry and government, and contributions to addressing societal challenges make it a prominent institution both nationally and internationally.
The University of Valladolid offers one PhD student who is currently studying at Karshi State University, to carry out research in Spain for the autumn/spring term of 2024-2025 academic year. Round-trip air tickets and living expenses are covered by Erasmus+ ICM KA171 program for 3 months. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
Note: students are required to get a Schengen visa for staying one semester (5 months) in Spain, and it is mandatory to visit personally Spanish Consulate in Moscow, Russia in order to get a long-term visa. Erasmus+ scholarship does not cover the following visa expenses:
Air tickets to-from Moscow;
Staying in Moscow for a period of the visa interview.

- Letter of Recommendation
- Official academic document (Transcript of Records)
- Certificate of enrolment (students) in a PhD Programme at their home institution
- Certificate of a command of languages
- Mobility Proposal (work plan to be carried out) signed by the academic and administrative responsible of the home institution
- Letter of motivation
- In the case of applicants with special needs, applicants must upload the documents required to accredit said situation in their home country.
- Declaration of compliance with tax and national insurance obligations in the matter of grants. This declaration must be signed by the applicant.
