PUBLIC CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

Erasmus+ is the EU Programme in the fields of education, training, youth and sport. Key Action 1: Mobility of learners and staff under Erasmus+ scheme means opportunities for students, trainees and young people as well as for professors, teachers, trainers, youth workers, the staff of education institutions and civil society organisations to undertake a learning and/or professional experience in another country. 

The University of Jaen is a leading university in Spain that offers over 40 degrees in Humanities and Education, Experimental Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, and Engineering. They are taught in both English and Spanish. Over 60 exchange programmes are available for students who want to experience another university or culture. The institution also has links with the industry, offering internships in more than 500 companies. 

The University of Jaen offers one student who is currently studying at the Faculty of Foreign Languages (English specialty), Karshi State University, to study in Spain for the autumn term of 2024-2025 academic year. Round-trip air tickets and living expenses are covered by Erasmus+ ICM KA171 program. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply. Selected students will be contacted for an interview.  

Note: students are required to get a Schengen visa for staying one semester (5 months) in Spain, and it is mandatory to visit personally Spanish Consulate in Moscow, Russia in order to get a long-term visa. Erasmus+ scholarship does not cover the following visa expenses:

Air tickets to-from Moscow;

Staying in Moscow for a period of the visa interview.

3) Motivation letter (you should explain why you choose this mobility, what makes you a good international mobility student, and what will your impact be on your university after your return, etc.)

4) Foreign Language Certificate (IELTS 6.5-7/ CEFR B2-C1/TOEFL)
