On October 21, Uzbekistan celebrates Uzbek Language Day, also known as the Day of the State Language of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The date was not chosen by chance: October 21 is the day of granting the status of the state language to the Uzbek language. It was on this day 1989 that the law “On the State Language” was adopted
As a tradition, at Karshi State Univerity, university faculty members and students celebrated the day at large.
Within University faculties, with the initiative of the students, there organized celebration events.
